TRANSFERS

well things are going good. i got transferred but its all good im in an area called skyline its in east mesa. its way cool and we have a really nice appartment with 4 elders who are all really cool. my comp is elder pettit from south jordan. and i have been here for like 2 hours and i already had in and out so that was cool. and now we are at the stake center playing basketball and emailing man im terrible at basketball but it will come back. not too much to write about but i will probably send a package home soon and i will send a picture card home really soon. but it sounds like everything is going swell back home thats cool that riley has a game i miss football and now i dont get to watch all the cool kids in st johns play anymore. thats funny that logan trashed the house but it will be nice to have him home lets be honest and that is cool that your still helping out service is where its at the other day we did a whole day of service where we picked a whole backyard full of 4 ft high weeds and then went and chopped wood for the rest of the day so i love service now, so i dont know too much about my area. we cover 5 wards one is a branch that is for senior citizens and we have 4 people on date so its going to be sweet i cant wait to go out and start meeting people and working i think its going to be a really fun transfer so i love you so much and keep up the good work.

This is the last of the pics, I hope Garr sends more soon...

Beautiful St. Johns, Arizona. Notice the Dust Devil.

Britton's bedroom in St. Johns. Notice the Bengals blanky!
Maybe I need to send him a red U of U pillow case!

Is this where they look for investigators?
Keep your water bottle close, or this might happen to you!

extremely long email

well things are going good the football team
here is a lot like olympus they have their red
and white game friday so we are going to try to
make it to that and the olympics are awesome
i wish we could watch them, sunday night
we were at dinner and they were watching them
so we got to see china and us in the womens
olympics so that was alright but i would have
liked to see swimming or basketball or track or
somthing a little more exciting. thats crazy that
andy is leaving today man i cant believe it
everyone is gone but on my part this morning has
been quiete the dissapointment we woke up and called
the zone leaders for permission to go out early
to hunt and they said to call the assistants and
the assistants said call president and president
didnt want us to go so im kind of mad at the zone
leaders cuz they were cool with it last week
but oh well i will have to come back some other
time. but yes we have 2 babtisms saturday the first
one is randy brook he is an 18 year old who took
the lessons a year ago and is way cool his mom just
didnt want him to get babtized until he was 18 so
now we have just been reviewing and reteaching and
the other one is danielle and she is a 9 year old half
navajo and half apache so its been a tough one but
we have met the requirement of getting her to
church 8 times and taught her everything so her
babtism should go well hopefully she will keep
coming to church. so thats who we are babtizing
we are working with a few other people but nothing
to serious yet so we got to keep finding new ones but
interviews are tomorrow with the pres so that should
be good its also pretty cool and this transfer is
already almost over its crazy how fast it goes it
will be interesting to see if i go down to the
valley i probably will but its ok i missed the
most of the summer so thats about it i love you
and take it easy love elder knaphus

so its kind of hard but i think we might be
able to babtize him in the long run but we
still need to find more soon and i didnt
email yesterday cuz of the hunt it was really
fun but we didnt get a bear we came pretty close
though we saw elk and deer so it was cool we
