football season is awesome i wish i could
be there for it but i catch it every once
in a while yeah im really lucky to be serving
in the greatest mission in the world but i
think its a good experience anywhere you go
there is a little bit of everything here
but i really enjoy it

i can look at the blogs now, thats cool that you went up to Logan, man the utes are kicken trash. hopefully they can keep it up and put byu to shame cuz i hate those fools. that’s cool that you had a many stake conference this week and that you heard from Pres Monson that is so cool im excited for general conf it will be cool to hear from the prophet again man i have realized how import it really is to listen to him and actually do what he sais ! i highly recommend getting Riley going strong now in prayer and scripture study and really understanding the gospel, because i didn’t. I really wish I would have. but thats cool that there was a lot on service cuz there is no greater happiness than serving others i can promise you that you just have to have the attitude and its not that hard. so yeah things are going great the works good we had an awesome baptism last Saturday and the other one was bumped back but we have one in a week and a half, if she quits smokin today, so got to keep praying for her but things are all well me and my comp are cool i haven’t gottin mad or anything nothing i cant handle. i did receive that package from the pi I swear I told you guys I did in a letter or something, but oh wel,l it was awesome. everyone loves the pmg including myself its awesome and the pants as well are way cool they are a little tight fittin but what the heck i still wear them fine and like them a lot i just bought a freakin sweet watch today it was 130 dollars kind of expensive but they gave me 40 dollars off and you know how i am when i get that discount but i will be sending home a package with pictures and stuff some ties and that watch you got me and whatever else i can round up but everything is great, love you, love elder knaphus

thats awesoms that alex is leaving yeah i am
pretty up to date with college football we usually
get to catch a little bit my comp is a die hard
usc fan so we are watching the usc ucla game this
saturday with are dinner appt so that will be cool
but i havnt got the chance to look at the blogs
for a while the comp is really slow and it might
even be blocked but i will try today and that is
way cool i would love to meet up with spencer and
phyllis and megan and james too that would be cool
but things are going really good here but it has
been a little crazy we are working with 2 older men
who are really good friends theyre story is too
long but i will make it short they live with each
other and they both want to join the church together
and we went over the other nigh and one beat up
the other so we met with them and found
out that they both say that theyre on meth and
cross dressing so things have really gettin weird
with that situation but through it all we are still
probably going to babtize one of them cuz you can
tell he isnt on drugs or anything and the
other is so its all should work out then we are
teaching a 35 yr old who is way solid he gets
babtized next week and he has almost quit chewing
so thats awesome i dont know him very well
though and then we are teachin 2 ladys who are pretty
doubtfull we just sit and try to anwser theyre
questions and then we are teaching a family where
the dad is really doubtful with his questions and
the mom is x communicated so thats a weird
situation so most of the people we are teaching
will take time but its all good i am really
enjoying it here i have met a bunch of awesome
people the wards are really helping
missionary work out a ton so things are great!

ties, ties, ties

hows it going its going good here thats sick
that the utes beat michigan i wanted to watch
the game so bad but my comp wouldnt let me i
guess thats a good thing. yeah but i wonder
what its like for trent right now in the hurricane
he hasnt really mentioned it. so this week was
good we have a bunch of people were teaching and
babtizing soon i dont know much about them.
but the work is so different here and there is so
much more of it.  its really funny to hear what
people think about the church and the funny anti
beliefs but we have had some really good lessons. 
yeah i live in some apartments that are just off
crismon and southern and its pretty close to skyline
but our apartments are really nice  probably the
nicest ones in the mission we have a grill and
everything ping pong is sick too.  yeah the area is
really new and there is everything you could possibly
need in our area so its cool today we just went to
the thrift store and bought a 20 dollar bag of ties
today that weighed 50 pounds i have never seen so
many ties in my life its awesome i will have to send
some home but anyways everything is really good we
havnt gone to the temple but soon it will be really
neat but i love you a lot have a nice day
